There's a second 24-hour scale running along the outer edge, giving the GMT function clear separation. The date sits cleanly at 3 o’clock, across from the seconds, keeping all things symmetrical.
The stainless steel case is big at 44mm. The brushed and polished finish runs all the way through to the lugs and bracelet. It gives off a slight glint under direct light but mostly keeps a low profile. The bezel is fixed, which means one less distraction. The case back is transparent, so you can see the Oris 748 movement doing its work. No showboating, just clean mechanics and reliable movement.
This bracelet isn’t flimsy. Each brushed link feels solid under the fingers. There's a good weight to it. The clasp closes with a fold and snap, tight and secure, no nonsense. Some folks swap it out for a fabric strap, but honestly, this bracelet feels right at home with the rest of the build.
Function-wise, the second time zone is the main event. The GMT hand tracks an additional time zone across the outer 24-hour ring. It’s easy to adjust. There’s no guesswork once you get the hang of the crown. The movement runs on a 38-hour power reserve, which covers you even if you set it down for a day.
Everything about this model points to confidence without theatrics. The large crown screws down tight, keeps water out, and adds a nice tactile detail to the right side of the case. The hands and markers glow in the dark but don’t look over-treated in daylight. You won’t find color gimmicks or busy subdials here. It keeps track of time at home, and somewhere else too, without throwing a tantrum about it.
